What is an air suspension compressor? What does it do？
The air suspension compressor works by drawing in outside air, compressing it and feeding it into the air chambers of the springs and shock absorbers, which lift the vehicle chassis off the axle. Height sensors are mounted near the front and rear wheels. Based on the output signal from the height sensor, the microcomputer determines the change in body height and then controls the air suspension compressor and exhaust valve to compress or elongate the spring, thus providing a damping effect. (Therefore, if the shock absorber or air chamber is bad, the air compressor is ineffective. Please check the shock absorber first before determining whether to replace the air compressor)
