INSTALLATION NOTES

• Install on the interior side of the vehicle glass
• Connect to a suitable 12V vehicle power source
• Professional installation is recommended
• Keep electrodes, connectors, and wiring dry
• Do not cut the bottom electrode or connection wires
• Do not lower the window immediately after installation
• Allow sufficient curing time before regular window operation

Q1. Is this smart film for cars or buildings?
A1:This product is automotive-grade PDLC smart film designed for 12V car electrical systems.
It is not building smart film (110V/220V).

Q2. How does the smart tint work?
A2.PDLC smart film changes transparency when power is applied.
Power ON → Transparent
Power OFF → Opaque (Privacy Mode)
Supports stepless dimming via remote control
0 power consumption when opaque

Q3. What is the difference between this and regular window tint?
A3:Regular Tint: Fixed darkness/No electronics /No privacy mode/No remote/Cheap tint.
PDLC Smart Tint:Adjustable transparency

PDLC smart film is an electronic smart tint, not a traditional tint film.

Q4. What size is the film? Will it fit my car?
A4:Standard size: 50 × 100 cm (19.7 × 39.4 inch) per piece.
The film can be cut to fit your window shape.

Q7. How is the system powered?
A7:The system connects to 12V car power, such as:
ACC power
The controller converts power to the correct voltage for the smart film.

Q8. Will it drain my car battery?
A8:No. The system is usually connected to ACC power, so it only works when the car is on and will not drain the battery when the car is off.
When the smart film is opaque, it consumes 0 power.When the smart film is transparent, the power consumption is about 3–8W per set, which is very low.

Q9. Can I install it myself?

Q10. Is it installed inside or outside the window?
A10:The smart film must be installed on the inside of the car window, not outside.

Q11. Can I drive when the film is opaque?

The opaque mode is designed for privacy, not for driving.

Q12. Does it block UV and heat?
Yes:

Q13. Can I still see outside when opaque?
A13:When opaque, the film provides privacy, but you can still see light and shadow, not clear images.
